MONO NO HAKA is a quiet iPhone app for preserving the memories of objects people are ready to let go.
Instead of treating decluttering as simple disposal, the app gives users a small private ritual: register an object with a photo, name, memory, and reason for saying goodbye, then preserve the emotional trace as a blue Memory Pearl. Over time, those pearls gather in Pearl Garden as a personal constellation of remembered relationships.
The design avoids feeds, accounts, scores, ads, and social pressure. It is local-first and intentionally calm, focused on helping people let go without erasing what mattered.
Early response: MONO NO HAKA reached #10 in the Japanese App Store paid Lifestyle ranking shortly after release, and appeared at #7 in MSY Games' New Smartphone Apps Popular Recommendation TOP100 ranking.
