kott.io® turns photos, video and live camera feeds into real-time dither, halftone, ASCII and glitch effects, rendered at 60fps on-device with nothing uploaded. Designed and built by Jane Kott, KOTT.STUDIO.

The studio runs 208 GPU effects in the browser, mappable to a hardware MIDI controller and drivable by audio. It opens on a photograph that is already dithered, so the instrument is playing before you touch anything. The site itself is built on a visible Swiss modular grid: a marginalia index rail, a real spec sheet, tabular figures, lowercase headlines, one functional magenta accent, no shadows.
